My therapeutic goal, with each client, is a holistic approach, encompassing addressing all levels of tissue that may be affected and I use a variety of techniques to get to the source of pain or injury. With over 3000 hours of training, I am educated in cranio-sacral therapy from the Upledger Institute, Visceral Manipulation, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, muscle energy, deep tissue massage, manual lymph drainage, passive hydrotherapy and Aquanetics – a form of active hydrotherapy.
My massage therapy practice includes treatment of a wide variety of conditions and I will do a postural evaluation, addressing alignment and stress patterns. Some of the conditions that patients come to see me for include overuse injuries, pain and stress, headaches, postural imbalances, temporal-mandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ or jaw soreness or dysfunction), breast massage, post-surgery, insomnia, digestive issues, athletic training or car/cycling accident rehabilitation. I welcome anyone who is interested in receiving the many and varied benefits that massage therapy can offer to contact me! |
